Continuing Education

The IRMI Emmett J Vaughan Agribusiness Conference (AgriCon) may provide up to 18 hours of insurance continuing education (CE) credit in most states. Regulatory bodies have final authority on course acceptance and credit amounts. Continuing education credits are tracked and reported by third-party service providers.

Insurance Agents (CE)

CEU Institute is the provider for continuing education credits and is filing the Conference for insurance CE credit in most states. 

If approved by your state, attendance may satisfy a significant part of your annual CE requirements (resident and nonresident) if you attend the entire Conference!

How to Earn Continuing Education

  1. Complete the Continuing Education section during registration. Provide the information on whether you are requesting continuing education credit, the type(s) of continuing education credit you need (i.e., state insurance CE, Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist renewal, other certification renewals, etc.), and provide the required licensing information, if applicable, during the registration process.
  2. Comply with the attendance verification process. To receive CE credit, you must comply with the attendance verification process required by the states. 
  3. Attend all sessions each morning and/or each afternoon. The Conference is filed in half-day blocks, which means you must attend a session in each time slot during the morning to receive credit for the morning and each time slot during the afternoon to receive credit for the afternoon. Participants must also mark sessions they attended on the attendance tracker in each half-day increment to ensure CE credit is properly awarded.

    Please note: There is no credit for the General Session(s). 
  4. Certificates of completion are provided approximately 30 days after the Conference to those who comply with our attendance verification process.
